New to Competition Obedience?
Competition obedience is a dog sport involving performance of a series of exercises under various distractions. These exercises often include the dog heeling precisely by the handler’s side, retrieving specific objects, and demonstrating keen focus through scent discrimination tasks. Taking our sports prep class is a pre-requisite for all of our competition obedience classes. We also offer basic and advanced manners classes if your dog isn’t quite ready for sports prep.

Competition Obedience 101
This class is for dog and handler teams new to competitive obedience or looking to strengthen their foundational skills before competing. The class focuses on building a strong and enthusiastic partnership using positive reinforcement and engagement games. This class nurtures a dog’s natural enthusiasm and builds a solid, joyful relationship that translates into precise and willing performance.
